Meet your Guide: Jennifer Joy
I am a certified Sound and Vibrational Therapy practitioner, yoga teacher, and founder of La Luz de Seco.
At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself. So much of our lives asks us to keep going, keep doing, and keep it all together. My sound and vibrational therapy practice offers a place to soften, listen inward, and return to yourself.
My approach is grounded in both training and curiosity. I have studied and continue my studies in the science of sound, vibration, meditation, and the nervous system; I bring that understanding into my work alongside intuition, deep listening, and presence.
I also love teaching yoga, but yoga extends far beyond what I teach on the mat. My own practice informs how I approach my work and my desire to move through the world with greater awareness, curiosity, compassion, and an ongoing practice of returning to the present moment.

La Luz de Seco grew from a dream of creating a place devoted to healing in nature. Today, beneath the presence of Taos Mountain, that dream has become a space where people can gather, rest, receive, move, and simply be.
More than anything, I hope that when you come here, you feel welcomed exactly as you are, and leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more spacious, and a little more connected to yourself.

“Where sound becomes light, vibration becomes healing, and your spirit remembers its song.”
